Classic car restoration can be a long and daunting task, but with the right partner the value you get from it can be incredible – at TP Bodyworks we know this , as we have restored our own historic vehicles (see gallery below)
TP Bodyworks can restore any vehicle to one of four states, depending on your budget and purpose:
Driving condition
this ensures you can safely and proudly drive your classic vehicle, after replacing any worn or defective parts, repairing any major cosmetic flaws and ensuring your vehicle is as safe as it should be
Street show
this refers to classic vehicles that are in top working condition with no cosmetic issues or flaws. Any replacement parts used will be of the best available quality and the most faithful and accurate to the originals
Show car level
this refers to the restoration of a historic vehicle using only the most faithful and historic parts and processes, all as defined in the original manuals and specs of your vehicles. There will be no cosmetic issues and all paintwork, wheels etc. will be finished to the highest quality
Concours
the holy grail of restoration! A vehicle that is restored to this level is considered the highest, most professional job achievable. This work is usually done to vehicles that will go into private collections or specialist auto shows. It is usually reserved for vehicles that are driven very lightly or not at all.
